Mackinley May joined Code Hunter as a summer student in 2024 and will article with the firm on obtaining his Juris Doctorate and completing a court clerkship in 2025/2026.
Background
Mackinley is completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta. Before studying law, Mackinley completed a Bachelor of Arts in history with a minor in political science. He previously was deeply involved in the Calgary marching band community for over 10 years, participating first as a student and then as an instructor.
Community Service
Mr. May volunteers with Student Legal Services in Edmonton as a case worker and day-shift leader, providing free legal information and assistance to the low-income community for civil and family matters in the Alberta Court of Justice.
