Background

Emily is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at the University of Calgary and is expected to graduate in Spring 2027. Prior to law school, she completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours). Her extensive work in student leadership and community volunteerism while pursuing her studies led to her being the 2024 recipient of the F. Murray Fraser QC Scholarship.

Community Service

Emily remains committed to community involvement and volunteers with Student Legal Assistance as both a case worker and group leader. In this role, she helps provide free or low-cost legal information and legal services to disadvantaged members of the public for their criminal, family and civil matters at the Alberta Court of Justice.
