Julie Ward represents clients in trial and appeal courts, arbitral proceedings, and before regulatory boards and tribunals.
Background
Julie provides counsel on a variety of civil, regulatory, intellectual property and labour and employment matters.
She completed her J.D. at the University of Calgary where she was selected to serve student internships with the Human Rights Commission and the Alberta Utilities Commission. Julie also served as the Co-Editor and Chief of the Alberta Law Review. After articling with a national law firm, Julie earned her LL.M. in International Business Law with a focus on negotiation and arbitration from Osgoode Hall, York University.
Julie is committed to providing diligent, efficient, and effective counsel to clients.
Community Service
Julie was an active member of the Pro Bono Students of Canada’s Human Rights Project during her law degree. Since then, she has volunteered with the Pro Bono Alberta’s King’s Bench Amicus Program and remains committed to contributing to her community through volunteer work and mentorship.
